Tour de Foothills Highlander Century (100 Miles)

Start Time 7:00am: This new ride is still under development. For those who have riden our rides in the past, expect this one to be a challenge worthy of its title!

Tour de Foothills Metric Century (62 Miles)

Start time 7:00am:  Ride begins going west along Route 66, then out to Bonelli Park/Raging Waters and through scenic Covina Hills.  It heads north  to the beautiful Glendora foothills, then towards San Dimas Canyon with a short steep climb into LaVerne. The route then heads east on Baseline Road until you turn north for the biggest climb of the ride up towards majestic Mt. Baldy, with a fast descent back down into Upland. It then weaves through the Colonies retail/residential development and continues east through Rancho Cucamonga before swinging back to Memorial Park. The ride has 2,805 feet of climbing, most of it in the first 40 miles. There are two manned rest stops and several other parks with restrooms along the route.

Tour de Foothills Metric Half Century (31 Miles)

Start time 9:00am:  Ride begins same as the Metric Century course past Claremont, where it turns north. The route then heads east, going through the Colonies retail/residential development and continues into Rancho Cucamonga before swinging back to Memorial Park. The ride has 928 feet of climbing and one manned rest stop and several other parks with restrooms along the route.

Registration Includes

  • Goody bag including Ride T-Shirt --  We listened, and the T-Shirt is back!

  • Post ride festivities: lunch, raffle, vendor village & music

  • Ride Support: All 3 routes will have roaming vehicle support and course marshals.

Please be aware that Tour de Foothills will be held late in the Fall Season.  Daylight savings ends the week before our event.  Due to reduced daylight hours, we will be establishing cut off times and route diversions on the course when necessary to ensure your return to the park under safe lighting conditions.  Details will be provided at the start.  Be assured if you start the Highlander Century at the designated starting time of 7:00 AM and  maintain at least a 13 mph average speed, including all stops, you'll be able to complete the entire Highlander Century.  If you begin the Metric Century at the designated starting time of 7:00 AM and maintain an average speed of at least 10 mph, including stops, you'll be able to complete the entire Metric Century Route.
